Leisure Batteries FAQs
Q | What is the difference between AGM & Lithium batteries? |
A | Lithium batteries are a much better form of battery technology with an increased depth of discharge, longer life span and weigh much less the AGM batteries. To learn more about the differences you can read our article here. |
Q | How do I create a battery bank? |
A | Depending on if you want to increase the batteries voltage or Amp/hrs you will need to connect either in series or parallel. You can find out which option you will need and how to set-up up by reading here. |
Q | What size battery will I need? |
A | To work out what size battery would be best for your needs you can use this simple equation Ah required per 24hrs - Ah recharged per 24hrs) x no. days away = Total usable Ah required. It is important to note that AGM batteries will prefer a 50% depth of discharge so you will need to reduce the overall Ah by 50% to find their usable Ah rating. |
