Payment Security
Online Orders
At 12 Volt Planet we want you to feel 100% safe with your online transaction so we use Elavon ( formerly Opayo) and PayPal secure payment gateways.
Elavon is one of the world's most trusted, long established, and secure internet payment service providers, operating in 36 countries. When you have submitted your personal details at the checkout process you will be passed to the Elavon secure payment page where you will be asked to select your card type and enter your card details. Elavon uses industry-leading 128 bit SSL (secure socket layer) encryption technology, so you can rest assured that the payment information you provide is protected.
We accept payments using the following cards:
Depending on your card type you may also be asked to provide additional security information under the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode schemes. You can find out more about these schemes by clicking on the logos below.
After you submit your credit or debit card details, Elavon will undertake security checks and verify the transaction. Once the transaction is complete, your browser will automatically redirect you to a confirmation page on our website. Finally, an e-mail will be sent to you by Elavon to confirm the transaction and we will email you a copy of your order.
PayPal is a quick, convenient online payment method, providing one of the World's most secure and trusted payment platforms and used by millions of people around the globe every day. With a PayPal account all of your financial information, like your bank account details and your credit card number, is securely stored and encrypted on their servers with all transactions monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Telephone Orders
To provide you with flexible payment options we can also process your order by phone (for orders up to £500), which also uses Elavon's industry-leading 128 bit SSL encryption technology. Under no circumstances do we store your card details so you can be assured that your card security is maintained at all times.
