Self-adhesive cloth harness tape for wrapping cables, harnesses, pipes, tubes etc. to protect against chaffing and abrasion. This tape is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 125°C and so is particularly useful for applications in the engine bay and other areas where temperatures may reach high levels and where standard PVC tape might not be adequate.
Hard wearing and tear-resistant, this tape provides a very professional finish and gives wiring looms that 'factory' look - highly recommended for all kinds of wiring projects.

Excellent tape, have tried the cheaper versions and they simply are not as good. Binds well, good stretch, very strong, and glue does not migrate from tape and make a sludge like mess as other cheaper versions do.

My sixteen year old Mazda MX5 has some exposed wiring above the cylinder head which had been badly covered with pvc insulating tape and the heat of the engine over time had caused this to unravel. This tape was brilliant and fit for purpose. Easy to use and the result is a much tidier wiring harness which should last.

This is a smooth cloth tape with a tight weave and strong adhesive.
Note that fleecy cloth tape is also available, which might be more suitable in some situations.
