Description

AMC 16mm² high temperature thin wall battery cable suitable for low voltage auto and marine applications.

This type of cable is used as standard by OEM manufacturers throughout Europe due to its high performance characteristics. The thin wall insulation provides significant weight and volume savings, particularly in large wiring harnesses, and it has good resistance to fuels (petrol & diesel), oils, dilute acids and moisture. The hard grade insulation also provides good protection against abrasion damage and cut-through, whilst retaining good flexibility for battery wiring applications.

Note: This cable is excellent for high temperature applications. For lower temperature applications where high flexibility is desirable then consider Extra Flexible PVC battery cable.

5* Quality and 4* Flexibility
This is a great cable and very tough, so a great choice if you need something that will last. But, if you're after something nice and flexible if working in small confined areas and need it to be flexible to bend around things, then I would buy the Extra flexible alternative instead. I installed a leisure battery under the seat of my VW T5 Transporter and the Extra Flexible cable was so much nicer to work within that tight area.

Ordered this cable for 6volt system on a grey fergie tractor.
The cable is exactly what was needed.
Ordering was easy and delivered by our local royal mail postie on recorded delivery.
Which meant it was delivered to my hand rather than recovering it out of a Bush like other delivery services.
