Copper Tube Terminal Hexagon Crimping Tool 6 - 50mm²

I've found the crimp difficult to use and the ferrule sticks out ,maybe it's me

Cannot recommend. This tool leaves sharp wings at the side of the crimp. This must weaken the crimp as that copper is meant to be wrapped round the wire not sticking out the side. Also the wings would cut through the heat shrink sleeve if not removed.

Covers a wide range of sizes. East to change the jaws.

Well packaged , arrived on time. Substantial piece of kit. Had watched the video before purchase ( its why I chose it because it does the ‘hex’ crimp.
No nstructions in the box , see comments below ref Anderson connectors.
Crimped the 25mm copper tube connectors fine no problem. Came to the Anderson ( these were 175 Amp) . With the operating arms full stretched its inly JUST possible to fit the connector into the jaws ( set to 25/35) and then you would need to be tarzan or hercules to get any sort if crimp! I reset the crimp to ‘50’ and fastened one operating arm in my large vice and it took the pressure and the crimps were fine. Suggest you add to sales text ‘Can do Anderson Connectors’ , also add a bit to the video. BUT VERY GOOD AND ROBUST TOOL AT A VERY GOID PRICE. Could do with more info ( either on video or paper copy) especially when trying to crimp Andersons.

In connecting my four battery leisure bank in a more efficient manner I needed to make 8 new cables with their associated terminals. For one off jobs I've previously used the bolt and bench vice trick, but this needed to be a professional finish.
As usual the item arrived as described and in the time frame given.
I'm amazed at how easy the crimping tool is to use and how good the finish is. For the stress and heartache it's prevented it's worth every penny.

Re-wired a T5 Camper yesterday with a new B2B system and two leisure batteries, must have made two dozen 25 and 35mm terminals with this tool - perfect crimp every-time! Well worth the investment.
