The Lynx Power In (M8) is a modular DC busbar, used to connect batteries to the Victron Energy Lynx DC distribution system.
The Lynx DC distribution system is a modular busbar system that incorporates DC connections, power distribution, fusing and battery monitoring.
The Lynx Power In (M8) can be used on its own as a standalone battery connection system, or it can be combined just with a Lynx Distributor (M8) module or just with the Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M8) battery monitoring module, or with both, depending on your needs.
Inside the Lynx Power In (M8) there is a positive and negative busbar with 4 connections for batteries, loads or chargers, and a ground connection. Multiple Power In modules can be connected together to form a longer busbar providing more connection points. Note that the Power In does not contain any fuses so if used on its own, cable connections to all batteries, charging sources and loads must be fused externally (download the user manual from the Manuals & Guides tab for system examples).
This unit has a nominal current rating of 1000A for 12V, 24V or 48V systems, and M8 module connection bars and studs.
