Victron Energy Lynx Class-T Power In (M10)

The Lynx Class-T Power In (M10) module is part of the Victron Energy Lynx DC distribution system and is used to protect against extremely large short-circuit currents that can be produced by lithium batteries under fault conditions (due to their very low internal resistance). This module can house two 225A-400A Class-T fuses which have a very high interrupt capacity of 20kA DC and very fast blow characteristics, so offer the best chance of protecting your system from serious damage.

Inside the Lynx Class-T Power In (M10) there are positive and negative busbars, with two Class-T fuse locations from the positive busbar leading to two separate M10 studs for the positive battery cable connections, and a further two M10 studs for the negative connections. The studs accept copper tube terminals up to 120mm² in size and there is also a ground connection from the negative busbar, if one is required. The Lynx Class-T Power In (M10) should ideally be used in conjunction with a Lynx Distributor (M10) for protection of DC loads, and can be combined with any of the other modules in the Lynx range that use M10 inter-connection studs.

Each parallel connected battery, or each string of series-connected batteries should be fused, so this module can protect either two batteries in a 12V system that are connected in parallel, or two strings of series-connected batteries for higher voltages. For more than two parallel connected batteries or more than two series-connected strings, further Lynx Class-T Power In (M10) modules will need to be connected to the first to provide sufficient fuse locations.

Important: This module accepts only 225A, 250A, 300A, 350A, or 400A Class-T fuses (see further information below). Smaller and larger rated fuses in the Class-T range have different dimensions and will not fit the fuse locations in the Lynx Class-T Power In (M10).

This unit has a nominal current rating of 1000A for 12V, 24V or 48V systems, and M10 module connection bars and studs.
