Topband T-Series Premium batteries are high quality, feature-packed, IP67 waterproof lithium batteries for demanding applications, and are perfect as drop-in replacements for lead-acid batteries in leisure, marine, RV, solar, power backup, and other deep cycle applications. They are capable of retaining 80% of their original capacity after an impressive 6000 charge and discharge cycles at 1C (100A), and 80% Depth of Discharge (DOD).
This 100Ah battery supports multiple communication modes with Bluetooth, CAN, and RS485. Bluetooth enables remote monitoring via the Topband TB Battery App, and over-the-air updates to the BMS, whilst CAN and RS485 allow network communication with suitably equipped Victron products via a Victron GX device such as the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX. These products include MultiPlus, Mulitplus II, EasySolar, and others, that have CAN or RS485 ports.
The intelligent BMS has a range of protection features to ensure maximum safety in use, and an internal heater takes a small amount of power from the charging source to ensure safe charging at temperatures below 0°C. There is support for series and parallel connection (allowing up to 4 in series, 16 in parallel, and 4 sets of 4 in series/parallel) and each battery is supplied with a batt-batt communication cable.
A convenient built-in LED indicator shows the battery's state of charge at a glance, and a power on/off button allows you to completely disconnect the battery to eliminate the possibility of parasitic drain when not in use.
