Description

A pair of plated steel crocodile clips rated at 25A, together with red and black insulating sleeves.

These clips are useful for temporarily connecting portable equipment to battery terminals (e.g. charging sockets, inspection lamps etc.). The insulating sleeves protect against accidental electrical shorts, provide a clear visual indication of polarity and improve comfort when using the clips.

Cable can be connected to the croc clips by soldering or screwing (via a ring crimp terminal).

Good clips, rubbish insulating sleeve

Bought these as they were the size I needed and they were insulated. Clips are good so no complaints there, however the insulation sleeve is not very supple and once fitted over the clips they were very hard to open and the shape and rigidity sleeve wouldn't let them fully close either. I had to cut the sleeve on both sides up to the jaw to allow it to open fully.
