Q | What tool do I need for MC4 connectors? |
A | For MC4 connectors it is recommend you use a MC4 crimping tool, however if you are unable to source one you can use a Non-Insulated Terminal Ratchet Crimping Tool. |
Q | How can I strip large cable sizes? |
A | With large cable sizes, it is recommended that they are stripped using a sharp knife. Be extremely careful whilst doing however so as not to damage the copper. |
Q | I have a tool with a red, blue and yellow dot, can I just use that? |
A | Tools with these coloured dots are to be used with insulated terminals only. Using them on any other type of terminal or connector may damage the connection or tool. |
