Waterproof 3-pin connector socket and cover with an ingress protection rating of IP67 for use in harsh environments. It is suitable for use at 12V or 24V DC, has a maximum current rating of 20A and should be used with our panel-mounted, waterproof 3-pin connector plug (product code P02070).
The socket is supplied with a protective cover containing a silicone seal that prevents water ingress when the socket is not in use. The cover also has a chain tether to prevent it being lost. A silicone gasket at the back of the socket provides a waterproof seal against the mounting surface and the solder contacts accept conductors up to 4mm² in cross-section. The body is made from tough PBT and the copper contact pins are gold-plated to ensure a high quality, low resistance connection.
The matching plug connects to the socket with a twist-lock action and a silicone gasket inside the socket seals against the plug face to ensure a completely watertight connection.
Supplied with fixings for panel-mounting.
Suitable for automotive, leisure, off-grid, solar, garden and outdoor applications where a removable, but waterproof connection is required.
