For sleeving 'by the metre' please enter the number of metres required in the qty box and this will be supplied as a continuous length.

Description

General purpose, flexible polyolefin heat-shrink sleeving with a 2:1 shrink ratio. Suitable for a wide range of wiring applications including electrical insulation, abrasion protection, marking/colour-coding, bundling, strain relief etc.

In the size option drop-down box, the first ID is the un-shrunk diameter and the second ID the fully shrunk diameter.

Note: Sizes are internal diameter, not width when laid flat.

Available either by-the-metre or in mini reel boxes. Mini reel boxes are ideal for easy dispensing (length of sleeving in mini reel box varies with sleeving size - see below):

  • 12 metres - 3.2mm / 1.6mm
  • 11 metres - 4.8mm / 2.4mm
  • 10 metres - 6.4mm / 3.2mm

  • 6 metres - 12.7mm / 6.4mm
  • 5 metres - 19.1mm / 9.5mm
  • 4 metres - 25.4mm / 12.7mm
  • N/A - 38.1mm / 19.1mm

Heat shrink sleeving

Heat shrink sleeving used to waterproof bullet connections on motorcycle. Tight fit but once on easy to use (used a cigarette lighter for ease) and worked very well, waterproofing cable joint. Ordered red and black to identify positive negative wires

It's ok but I would suggest go for 3:1 shrink ratio with adhesive.

Not much you can say, heat it up and it shrinks.
