Designed for under seat applications

In a van conversion where space is at a premium, making use of every inch is a critical consideration and the Drift SEAT BASE was designed with exactly this in mind. Its compact dimensions and low case height of only 187.5mm make it ideal for installing under the driver or passenger seat (either fixed or swivel); an area that it often un-used or under-utilised. It also comes with mounting feet to enable it to be easily secured to the vehicle floor, eliminating the need for separate battery retaining straps or clamps.

High quality branded prismatic cells

Fogstar is a multi-award winning battery supplier whose long-standing relationship with prismatic cell manufacturer EVE has allowed them to develop a comprehensive understanding of the cell chemistry and technical specifications, making EVE the perfect partner for the Fogstar Drift leisure battery range. Many leisure battery suppliers simply won't know which cells are being used at the assembly phase, nor will they understand the grading, quality processes, or the cell configuration. This is why Fogstar has been involved since the inception of the Drift product, overseeing the specification of every component and ensuring each battery contains high quality, branded, and traceable LiFePO4 cells.

Comprehensive battery protection

Fogstar uses a 200A BMS from JBD for this battery which contains a wide range of protection features, ensuring optimal charging and battery health throughout the lifecycle of the cells. These protective features include: Overcharge Protection | Overcurrent Protection | Cell Balancing | High/Low Temperature Protection | Undervoltage Protection | Short Circuit Protection.

Heater and Bluetooth as standard

Every Fogstar Drift battery comes with a heater and Bluetooth connectivity built-in as standard. The heater takes a small amount of power from the charging source and heats the battery to 5°C, allowing it to charge in temperatures as low as -20°C.  Bluetooth connectivity allows you to view real time data about the health of the battery via the Fogstar Drift App which has been custom built to connect directly with the BMS and is free to download on both Android and iOS.

Active Balancer included

This battery is supplied with a JK 2A Active Balancer for cell balancing which can be plugged into the battery every 3-6 months to ensure that battery performance is optimised and the lifetime maximised.
