This 12V DC - 230V AC 1000W pure sinewave inverter from auto-electrical specialists, Durite, is a compact and reliable unit to provide you with mains power on the move. Its pure sinewave output exactly replicates that of a household supply so you can be confident that your 230V equipment will run properly. It has a continuous power output of 1000W and a peak/surge power output of 2000W, has several safety features built-in to protect itself and your battery, and comes complete with a remote control unit.

N.B. Cables and fusing not included - Durite recommends a minimum of 16mm² cable and a max. fuse of 110A.

This inverter has been shipped, unopened, to Ukraine to provide power to my refugee's mother's home. Having arrived in Derby very quickly, using an efficient carrier, it was opened and in use by the recipient in a remote village 25km south of Kyiv where it is now doing this vital work in sub zero temperatures. Not the usual review, I'm sure, but it does go to show how a simple device can make a massive humanitarian contribution.
