Description

This 12V reading light from Dimatec features two separate LEDs behind the lens, allowing you to select from cool white or blue light outputs to suit. Control is via a 2-way switch on the base of the light with a centre 'off' position. The fully adjustable swivel head allows you to angle the light where needed.

The light has a sturdy metal, chrome-plated body. It's fixed through the base via 2 screws (not supplied) that are then hidden by a rotating plastic cover and connection is via flying leads.

Ideal for use in motorhomes, campervans, caravans and boats.

Cracked lens in less than 2 years

Fitted inside my boat. The white light is very good but the blue light I found strained my eyes. Disappointed the lens has cracked after such a short time, it is crazed like a smashed windscreen, and now looks tatty.

Thank you for your review, At this time we have had no other reports of similar cracking appearing on the light following any length of time. We will of course report this to the manufacturer and keep a record should more units display this cracking.

Really nice exactly what I wanted. Second time I've purchased from these people, it's good to be able to pick up the phone and talk to someone as well, very pleased.

Smart little lamp

The unit is very compact, well made and looks good. Possibly a little underpowered but ok as a reading lamp or to display something nearby as it doesn't light far.
The option of a blue light is a nice touch.
