CBE 3 Position, Polarity Reversing Momentary Flat Switch - Grey

This CBE switch is a 3 position switch with MOMENTARY/OFF/MOMENTARY operation that has 2 additional terminals to allow it to be wired as a polarity reversing switch that can run a DC motor in both directions, e.g. for use with electric windows, electric aerials, central locking etc.

Using the centre 3 terminals it can be wired as a standard 3 position switch to send momentary power from a common input to one of 2 circuits (the switch is sprung loaded and returns to the centre position when released).  Using the additional 2 terminals, the output terminals can be connected to ground by default and then one or the other becomes connected to +12V depending on the switch position.

This switch is a 'flat' design that uses the entire surface of the module as the switch face and is a more contemporary design than their standard range of Unipolar switches.

Cable connection is 4.8mm blade terminals.
