The 7725 SafetyHub 100 from Blue Sea Systems provides a safe, compact method of fusing and distribution where a mixture of up to 7 high and low current circuits is required in a small footprint. Thanks to its fully sealed cover design the SafetyHub is ignition protected, making it perfect for use in the vicinity of fuels on board boats and in vehicles. The tethered cover is also IP66 rated and protects the fuses from the harsh marine environment when secured with the yellow clips.
The 3 midi fuse circuits can be used for high current loads (e.g. engine start, windlass, distribution panel etc.) and the 4 standard blade fuse circuits for low current loads (e.g. VHF, GPS, bilge pump, alarm, etc.). The maximum current rating of the entire block is 280A with each midi fuse circuit having a max. current rating of 170A, and each standard blade fuse circuit having a max. current rating of 20A.
The SafetyHub can be connected directly to a battery to provide unswitched circuit protection (e.g. for boats that will be moored), or it can be configured for switched circuit protection by fitting a battery switch before the main power connection (e.g. for boats that are trailered or kept in dry storage).
There is a single M8 stud to connect power to the block and then 3 further M8 studs to take power to the loads from each of the midi fuse circuits (we recommend using copper tube terminals).
Note: The standard blade fuse circuits are connected to via a 7731 Fuse Connector Plug which must be purchased separately - click here - this ensures a waterproof connection.
Fuses are not included - click here for midi - click here for standard blade
