This compact 1741 mini temperature monitor from Blue Sea Systems utilises a high quality, crystal clear yellow OLED display that is readable even in bright daylight conditions. Its compact form means that it can be mounted in any convenient location and its waterproof design allows it to be used on deck for easy temperature monitoring. It can display either Celsius or Fahrenheit (by reversing the input polarity) and can be used in either 12V or 24V systems. A 'snowflake' symbol appears on the display when the temperature reaches 1°C.
The display is supplied with a waterproof (IP68 submersible) temperature sensor that has a a temperature monitoring range of -40 to +80°C (Blue Sea Systems part no. 1820). The sensor cable is 30cm long and the wires can be connected either way around in the rear of the monitor. The sensor head can be attached to a suitable surface with double-sided tape.
Blue Sea Systems recommends the use of a 2A fuse in the positive supply cable.
