Description

This cable clamp is used to provide strain relief for separate positive and negative cables that are soldered into SB50 terminals.

Soldered terminals have a lower pull-out force than crimped cables and if the SB50 housing is disconnected by pulling on the cables, this can cause the soldered joint to fail. This cable clamp prevents this by clamping through the housing and around the cables, transferring the disconnection force to the housing and reducing strain on the solder joint.

Made from zinc-plated steel for corrosion resistance.

Note: Cannot be used in conjunction with environmental boots or PVC sleeves.
