This 5051 ST-CLB circuit breaker block from Blue Sea Systems offers a compact, surface mounted circuit protection solution where the use of circuit breakers is preferred, eliminating the difficulty and time required to mount individual breakers in a panel.
The block accepts Blue Sea Systems CLB ignition protected Push Button Reset-Only CLB Circuit Breakers with 6.3mm quick connect terminals that simply plug into each breaker location. This makes them as easy to use as a fuse and allows you to quickly and easily build a block to your specific requirements with circuit breakers ranging in value from 3A-40A. If a circuit breaker trips, the button will protrude through the hole in the cover, allowing it to be reset.
There are 12 circuits with independent input and output terminals, and an optional Jumper can be used to connect two or more input terminals together to create a group of circuits with a common power feed. This allows a mix of switched circuits (e.g. fish finder, GPS, stereo) and permanent circuits (e.g. bilge pump, alarm, clock), giving you flexibility in configuring your system. The screw terminals and busses are made from tin-plated copper to resist corrosion and there are locations to store two spare jumpers.
The clear insulating cover is secured with strong clips, satisfies ABYC/USCG insulation requirements, and has break-outs that allow wire access from two directions. It comes with two spare terminal screws and features recesses that accept Blue Sea Systems 4215, 4216, 4217 & 4218 waterproof Square Labels for circuit identification.
Circuit breaker and spare jumpers not included (for illustration only) - see below for more info.
