The Maxxair Maxxshade is the perfect accessory to complement your Maxxair Maxxfan Deluxe Roof Fan. It fits neatly over the Maxxfan using the existing trim and the retractable, spring-loaded roller shade blocks out sunlight and UV rays to keep you cool and comfortable.

An additional feature of this shade is the 4-segment integrated LED lighting around the edges of the unit.

Maxxshade Blind with LED.

I have owned and been using the shade for over 6 months. The shade is easy to fit with only minor adjustment. The roller shade itself is well sprung but can shoot back if not careful. Its held on by 2 plastic clips that have so far survived without issue for myself. The main reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is that the I prefer a sturdier clip on the blind. I also have found that its not 100% black out light can bleed through the vents and the light lenses. The other issue is that whilst driving with it shut it can pop out the side runners. Apart from that much better than my previous home made cover. I use my van 365 days a year and I have found that the heat can escape from the closed blind.

Finishes The Maxxair Fan Off Nicely

This really does finish off the exterior of a Maxxair install nicely.
The LED Lights work great & throw out a surprising amount of Lumens.
Blind seams to block out a large % of light but like most other similar setups it's never going to be 100% light Blocking.
Excellent service from 12 Volt Planet, we had delivery next day.
