This highly durable 150W black semi-flexible solar panel features high-efficiency monocrystalline cells and is reinforced with fibreglass plastic and a strong ETFE surface. This panel is perfect for permanent outdoor use in a variety of battery charging applications including campervans, motorhomes, caravans, narrowboats, yachts, solar lighting systems, off-grid, and back up solar power systems.
Multiple panels can be connected in parallel to increase the current, or in series to increase the voltage and allow 24V/36V/48V battery banks to be charged (depending on the solar controller used). The panel can also be used as a direct power supply for applications not sensitive to changes in input voltage / current (e.g. electric motors or pumps) and for various grid-tie applications.

Strong ETFE coating
In addition to the fibreglass reinforcement, the surface of this 150W semi-flexible solar panel is made of strong ETFE material which has a longer service life compared with standard semi-flexible solar panels. As a result, these particular panels are extremely hard-wearing and less prone to cracking, delamination, and corrosion. The panel construction is fully sealed and waterproof, providing a high resistance to saltwater and making it perfect for use in marine environments.
Anti-reflective textured surface
The lightly textured coating creates an anti-reflective surface that reduces the reflection of light whilst maximising the absorption of light from every possible angle, thereby increasing light collection and efficiency. This ensures high performance in low light or cloudy conditions, or when the light falls at an angle (in the morning, evening, or in winter).
High quality 9-busbar solar cells
This panel features new generation 9-busbar solar cells, which are more efficient than the 2, 3, 4 or 5 busbar solar cells used in most other solar panels as they are able to extract more power from the same surface area. This results in a smaller overall solar panel which is ideal for applications where space is limited.
All-black design
This solar panel has a black backing, making it ideal for discreet and aesthetically pleasing installations on dark coloured roofs, vehicles or mounting surfaces. Please note that this solar panel is not 'ultra jet-black' - the exact hue may vary marginally from panel to panel, depending on the batch of solar cells.
Light, thin and flexible
At only 2.85kg and 2mm thick, this panel is incredibly light and thin. This thin profile allows a very high degree of flexibility, enabling fitment in a wide variety of applications where conformance to the curvature of a building, vehicle roof or boat deck is required. Bonding with a suitable adhesive/sealant is preferable, although the panel can also be fixed by bolts or screws if the holes are suitably sealed.
Ease of connectivity
The panel is fitted with 2 x 1m of UV-resistant solar cable (4mm² cross section), terminated with waterproof MC4-compatible connectors. These connectors allow for easy connectivity to your existing system, for linking several panels together or for connecting extension cables. Alternatively, these connectors can be cut off to enable the cable to be fitted to a solar charge controller that has screw clamp terminals.
Note: This panel must be used with a suitable solar charge controller and not connected directly to a battery.
