LED load resistor for use when warning messages appear in your vehicle after changing to LED bulbs.
LED bulbs draw a much lower current than traditional incandescent bulbs so when upgrading your vehicle to LEDs you may find that the flash rate of indicators is incorrect and/or you have warning messages appear on your dashboard. This load resistor simulates the current draw of a traditional bulb and prevents these errors.
Must be fitted in parallel with the LED bulb (i.e. one end of resistor spliced to +ve cable, the other end to the -ve cable). You may require 1 resistor per LED bulb.
Supplied with heat shrink butt connectors for making the splice connections. Fixings to mount resistor not supplied.
SAFETY WARNING - these resistors can reach temperatures of 170°C in operation so must be mounted on a metal surface. Do not mount on or near flammable material.
